Screen Sizes and resolutions

When considering purchasing an LED screen many factors need to be considered. Size, Cost, Resolution, Power Draw.

LED screens are made up of panels which are the assembled to create a screen of almost any size. Different resolutions have different panel sizes.

A WIDE VARIETY OF SCREENS ARE AVAILABLE, BELOW ARE OUR MOST COMMON.

OUTDOOR SCREENS

6.67mm - Panel Size - 720mm x 640mm High Res - Viewing distance from 6m onwards

10mm - Panel Size - 960mm x 800mm MHigh Res - Viewing distance from 10m onwards

16mm - Panel Size - 1024mm x 768mm Meduim Res - Viewing distance from 15m onwards

25mm - Panel Size - 800mm x 800mm or 1200mm x 1200mm Lower Res - Viewing distance from 25m onwards

INDOOR SCREENS

3.91mm - Panel Size - 1000mm x 500mm

6mm - Panel Size - 762mm x 762mm

6.944mm - Panel Size - 1000mm x 500mm

The pixel Pitch quoted above is Real Pitch, often suppliers quote a “Visual Pitch” which is normally half the Real Pitch. This is a software setting which allows a manipulation of the pixels in such away that during video playback the resolution looks much better. All our screens are capable of running under “Virtual Pixel or Visual Pixel” resolutions but this is not always recommenced as if effects the way text of some pictures are viewed.
